Since 2009 Toshiba TEC have been offsetting the carbon emissions produced by their MFP’s to make them “CarbonZero”. To do this they have, working with CO2balance, calculated the carbon footprint of each machine, covering production, manufacture and transportation.

The carbon emissions from these machines are then offset through a selection of projects, most notably the Kenyan Energy Efficient Stove and Ugandan Borehole Project.

This calculator has been created to support the CarbonZero Programme, and allows you to work out the positive impacts to the communities in Africa thanks to the purchase of CarbonZero MFPs.

It is designed to be client focused, creating bespoke impact reports for your client based on their mix of MFPs, providing data such as the number of cook stove and how many people will be positively impacted as a result of purchasing Toshiba’s CarbonZero MFPs.

It can be used as a part of a sales proposal, to show clients the impacts that would happen if they purchase CarbonZero MFPs, or post sales, to confirm the positive impacts, as well as supporting the clients own sustainable reporting indicators.
